Pie Slice Cake

This “Sweet As Pie” Cherry Pie Slice Cake was for my dear friend Janis.

It was her birthday yesterday, and she had a BBQ theme. This was also in addition to the Watermelon Slice Cake. The Calgary rain brought us inside, but that certainly didn’t affect the cheer of the party! Thank you Janis for hosting a great birthday party! The beef on a bun was dynamite!

Watermelon Slice Cake

I had some fun testing out the new airbrush on this Watermelon Slice Cake. I had some leftover watermelon sitting at home, so as you can see, I brought it in as a reference. 🙂

This cake was also for Janis’s BBQ birthday party, in addition to the Cherry Pie Slice Cake. I was absolutely delighted to see this cake cut up with the “watermelon skin.”
